Proof of publication
How it works
- Every published round gets a fingerprint: the SHA-256 of the round's forecasts. Change one number and the fingerprint changes completely.
- Fingerprints go into a public log. Each entry includes the fingerprint of the entry before it, so an old round cannot be changed without breaking every later entry.
- Each entry is timestamped by an independent service (RFC 3161). The service signs “this fingerprint existed at this moment” — nobody, including us, can backdate it.
The log started on 6 Nov 2026, 08:12 UTC. Rounds published before that date were recorded in entry #1: for them it proves they have not changed since then.

Log entries
Check it on the command line
Download a round from its match page (“Download this round”) and compare its SHA-256 with the log:
sha256sum round.json
Check an entry's timestamp with OpenSSL (the entry fingerprint is in chain.json):
openssl ts -verify -digest c8e8caed23560a5ec9136602599e5e045f3cfeacea1fd72fb9bf67c6eb7914f3 -in entry-2.tsr -CAfile /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt
Entry fingerprint = SHA-256 of the entry's n, at, prev and rounds as JSON with keys sorted and no spaces.
